MSNBC Knows How to Party

maddow bartending.jpg
If you’re just getting back to work now, it’s probably because you were dancing the night (and next day) away at MSNBC’s post-WHCD party. While Cap File and Bloomberg’s after-parties called it a wrap around 2 A.M., guests of MSNBC grooved into the wee hours of the morning at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium.

And why not? The fete was filled with celebrities, journalism royalty and posh politicos. Guests were pampered and treated to a huge array of fun and fancy snacks like MSNBC-branded cotton candy and push-pops, straight-from-the-grill sandwiches and drinks poured by one of the finest bartenders this city has ever seen – Rachel Maddow.

FishbowlDC spotted Katie Couric and Chelsea Handler giggling on a couch in the corner, Morgan Freeman, Jon Bon Jovi, Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough, Savannah Guthrie and Greta Van Susteren with Kim Kardashian.

Featuring larger-than-life banners of MSNBC talent and a live performance by KC and the Sunshine Band, the event was truly a little piece of paradise after elbowing my way through Capitol File‘s congested and sweaty party earlier in the evening.
