MAY 6, 2013 (New York) – National Review Editor Rich Lowry announced today that Jonathan Strong has been hired to cover national politics. As a Political Reporter, he will be based in NR’s Washington, D.C., office, and write for the magazine and website.
“Jonathan is a dogged and accomplished reporter. We’re excited to have him join our growing Washington team,” said Lowry.
“Jonathan will play an important part in our coverage of Congress, the White House, and national campaigns,” said Robert Costa, National Review’s Washington Editor. “He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge.”
A graduate of Wheaton College, where he majored in political science, Strong previously served as a Staff Writer for Roll Call, where he covered the House leadership. Prior to Roll Call, he was an investigative reporter at the Daily Caller and worked as a reporter for Inside EPA.
