NYT’s Herbert Insults Beck, Praises Olbermann

GWU School of Media and Public Affairs hosted a forum Wednesday on new media and journalistic standards and apparently NYT Columnist Bob Herbert thinks FNC’s Glenn Beck is lacking them.
C-SPAN was there to cover it.
Look specifically at about 43:40 minutes into the program when, in response to a student question about “madness in the media,” Herbert says: “My impression is that Glenn Beck is much more willing to traffic in nonsense, things that have no factual basis, then Keith Olbermann is. I don’t see Keith Olbermann as that kind of a figure.”
