From the look of things, the only two journos to land interviews with odd couple Ben Affleck and Cindy McCain in Washington were ABC’s Jake Tapper and Politico‘s Patrick Gavin. Affleck and McCain have forged an alliance to help the Congo. They appeared on ABC’s GMA with Tapper’s story this morning, on ABC World News and Nightline. “I’m a vessel,” Affleck told Tapper as to why people should listen to him about what’s happening in the Congo. …”I’m irrelevant.” But he’s not, says Tapper. That’s why you’re watching.

But notice how many times Tapper pimped his interview on Twitter. That’s right: 12. Gavin? 3.
