Politico‘s Dianna Heitz was spotted celebrating her promotion with colleagues last night. The party transpired at Politico‘s “official” bar, Continental Bar & Billiards in Arlington.

On Monday afternoon, an email with the subject line “Diann-a-might,” went out from Danielle Jones to webteam: “Guess what: Dianna Heitz today became POLITICO’s first Deputy Web Editor. She has been great at everything she has done here so far – from web producing to writing and editing – and we’re delighted that she will even more frequently have her hand on the site’s steering wheel, a job at which she’s already excelling. Please join me in congratulating Dianna for soaring to new Heitz (sorry, I had to do it – it’s tradition.)”
