Politico’s Executive Editor and Co-founder Jim VandeHei moves to Bloomberg.

The switch has been coming for months amidst rumors that VandeHei and Editor-in-Chief John Harris have been bickering over their combined nickname, VandeHarris. Harris has finally admitted to VandeHei that he’s jealous about being the third syllable in the name. “VandeHei’s a competitive guy, but this is taking it to a whole new, blasphemous level,” said Harris, who tried to convince VandeHei to go along with a compromise nickname, HarreHei, but that was rejected as ridiculous.

Word is VandeHei claims rights to Politico Click and will bring it and Click reporters with him to Bloomberg.

Finally, Bloomberg, at VandeHei’s request, will now be known as BLOOMBERG.

VandeHei went mute when asked for comment by FishbowlDC.
