Roland Martin Inspires ESPN “Ascot Day”

roland-martin.jpg Today is “Ascot Day” on ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption, inspired by the style of journalist and recurring guest, Roland Martin.

Martin began wearing ascots last year and often sports them at formal gatherings in place of a tie. After his unique style caught the attention of ESPN’s Michael Wilbon, Martin sent an ascot for him to wear on the show. An envious Tony Kornheiser asked for one as well.

Wilbon and Kornheiser will give Martin’s look a whirl tonight at 5.30 PM on ESPN.
