Schultz’s Favorite Senator Comes on ‘His’ Show

MSNBC’s Host Ed Schultz may be on standing in the proverbial corner right now for calling Conservative Commentator Laura Ingraham a “slut” last week. But that didn’t stop the liberal host’s favorite senator — that would be Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) — from being a guest on The Edless Show last night. MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts was Schultz’s substitute host.
On April 25, Schultz made the big on-air reveal that Sanders is his favorite senator. “I’ve never said you were my favorite senator on this program before, or when I was doing the 6 o’clock, but you are and I want to announce that tonight,” he gushed.
Sanders phoned into last night’s program by telephone. We’re sure Schultz is breathing a major sigh of relief that he didn’t miss a visit from his favorite lawmaker.
