The Pheasant Hunters: Nelson and Schumer
Sen. Ben Nelson’s (D-Neb.) office released a hunting photograph exclusively today to Politico’s Ben Smith and Carrie Budoff Brown.
The photograph accompanied their story about a recent hunting trip between perhaps two of the biggest press hounds in the Senate: Nelson and his hunting pal Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.)
Thankfully just pheasants and no dogs were shot (as referenced by a Schumer joke in the story).
Smith remarked, “The photo accompanying this story kind of made my day.”
