In what was the funniest and most awful utterance that came to light today, former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich (a one-time radio host on WLS AM Radio in Chicago) clearly regretted saying in Esquire magazine he is more black than President Obama.
“What I said was stupid, stupid, stupid,” Blagojevich said. “Obviously I’m not blacker than President Obama.”
It’s not yet known whether Blagojevich will ever get to be on the radio again at WLS. FishbowlDC was transferred to Production Manager Bob Shomper’s voicemail. Stay tuned…
In lieu of getting to hear Blagojevich on the radio, we will get to watch Blagojevich on NBC’s upcoming “Celebrity Apprentice”.
