Todd + Greenwald / Colbert x Torture = Funny!?
Last week, Salon’s Glenn Greenwald criticized comments made by NBC’s Chuck Todd regarding potential torture investigations by the Obama Justice Department. In response, Todd agreed to do a podcast with Greenwald to hash out their differences and to discuss the topic further. All was well until last night. Though Todd and Greenwald made nice, Stephen Colbert played it dirty:
“Investigating prisoner abuse will be a political food fight, and that is messier than torture.”
