WaPo Gossip Site Goes Dark for August

We knew August was the time of year to take your vacation in D.C.—Congress is in recess—but WaPo’s The Reliable Source is just about shutting itself down for almost the entire month. From the out-of-office notification on writer Amy Argetsinger‘s email:

“I’m on vacation until after Labor Day. If you’ve got something for the Reliable Source, Roxanne Roberts will be around through Aug. 8. After that, get in touch with Rachel Dry on the Style desk (address removed) or Mike Livingston, who will be compiling the Names and Faces column in our absence (address removed).”

Yes, Labor Day is still four weeks away. Nice work if you can get it.
