Casey Anthony Lands Seven-Figure Interview Deal… Or Did She?

Television producer Al Taylor says he has landed rights to the first interview with acquitted child-killer Casey Anthony for a cool million dollars. Taylor made the announcement on Dr. Drew’s HLN show this past Wednesday. The deal was allegedly brokered in Palm Springs, where Taylor advised Anthony “‘Remember, fame is fleeting, but infamy is even more fleeting…In six weeks you’ll be worth $100,000, not a million dollars.’”

That, however, doesn’t appear to be the case. TMZ reports that the major TV networks are currently in a major bidding war to land the first Anthony interview and that Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez is holed up in the Mandarin Oriental in New York fielding offers. TMZ didn’t know if the amounts in question topped Taylor’s alleged seven-figure offer, only that landing Anthony will carry a “big price tag”
