Located on South Almont Drive in Beverly Hills, CelebrityFootage.com has for upwards of two decades been amassing a large library of famous people footsteps, cemented and otherwise. From the latest Charlie Sheen wicked red carpet smile to a more quizzical half-man glance, if it happened at a showbiz event in the last 20 years, this service probably has it.
This morning, via TVNewsCheck.com, we learn that the little agency that could has tag teamed with the really big agency that can. CelebrityFootage.com is now an official partner of The Associated Press.
The deal is part of AP’s strategy to build the world’s leading entertainment stock footage offering, the news agency said. Under the terms of the agreement, the AP’s footage sales division will distribute CelebrityFootage’s video to the AP’s global customer base.
CF materials are already embedded at the AP Archive, alongside such incongruous syndication stablemates as Vatican Television and the Democratic Voice of Burma.
