Governor Palin Is Not Amused
Sarah Palin appeared on the Today Show with Matt Lauer this morning and spoke about the controversial jokes made about her and her daughter by David Letterman. From the Today Show website:
Palin said that the attitude displayed in Letterman’s routine “does contribute to some acceptance of abuse of young women.” She called it ‘a sad commentary on where we are as a culture, as a society, to chuckle and laugh through [such] comments.”
Big talk from someone who billed rape victims for the forensic testing used to gather evidence of the crimes committed against them.
