Hollywood Plays Host to ‘Coolest Person on the Planet’
Iron Man 3 co-star Gwyneth Paltrow was crowned by People magazine as the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” just ahead of last night’s big splashy El Capitan Theatre premiere. In this red carpet photo, she is firmly in the clutches of the person we think owns the “Coolest Person on the Planet” honors.
Seriously, could Robert Downey Jr.‘s all-white sneakers be any sweeter? It’s one thing to model that kind of footwear in front of the mirror at home; quite another to sport them with insouciance on Hollywood Boulevard.
Ditto for the way Downey interacted last night with fans. For that aspect of the proceedings, the twilight sunglasses look is perfect. Much like the way Downey plays to the audience on late night talk shows, this is no act. He genuinely enjoys rubbing shoulders with the hoi polloi.
Finally, if you’re an AAA-list star who plans on goofing around later at the after-party at The Hard Rock Cafe, it’s always wise to let younger co-stars like Ty Simkins in on the action. Dude (on the right) is too cool for superhero school.
