Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Joins ESPN.com as a Columnist

Laker great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is joining ESPN.com as its newest columnist. He’ll file bi-weekly.

“It’s an honor to be associated with a prestigious outfit like ESPN, and I’m looking forward to becoming a regular contributor and adding my voice to the mix,” Abdul-Jabbar announced today.

Abdul-Jabbar had a nice run as a blogger a few years back, but stopped posting on his site back in 2008. Nice to see him getting back into the writing world. Aside from his column, Abdul-Jabbar also recently published a children’s book called What Color is My World?.
