Absurd TV Personalities to Interview One Another

There’s some sort of poetic justice in the news that Fox News comedic blowhard Bill O’Reilly and Comedy Central’s faux-blowhard Stephen Colbert will appear on each other’s shows on January 18. Certainly Colbert’s over-the-top conservative cut-out will enjoy the opportunity to dryly jab at O’Reilly’s over-the-top conservative cut-out, but what could the falafel monster possibly gain from opening himself up to Colbert? Having already lost in a couple of bouts with Letterman, you’d think O’Reilly would be a little more wary about getting back in the ring with a comedian. But maybe Bill’s just trying to buck up his slumping ratings by piggybacking on a show that has more credibility than his own.
