Alec Baldwin was on Bloomberg TV this morning, and as our sister site FishbowlDC notes, he was talking about running for mayor again.

“Let’s see what things are like in 2014,” Baldwin told Bloomberg’s Betty Liu. “I would love to do it… I would still like to consider doing that because I do a lot of this work now and I wonder what it would be like if I had a staff and budget to do it.”

That’s just fantastic. We sincerely hope Baldwin does try to run for mayor one day, just so he can see how much of a joke it would be. But maybe we should just thank our lucky stars that we have Baldwin talking up the undertaking, and not Kim Kardashian. Our prayers are with you, citizens of Glendale, California.
