Time Warner Cable is set to drop Ovation from its cable programming. Ovation is only cable network focused completely on the arts. Citizens for Access to the Arts is not pleased with the decision.

The organization is taking the fight to City Hall–literally. They’ve scheduled a press conference for tomorrow at noon on the City Hall steps.

Arts organizations throughout the New York and local elected officials who are in opposition to Time Warner Cable’s decision are joining forces to voice their opposition and show support for Ovation.

Among those expected to participate are State Senators Eric Adams and John Sampson, who represent Brooklyn.

Ovation, the fourth fastest growing cable network, showcases a broad range of arts programming such as dance, theater, art, film, and music.
