Cover Battle: GQ or Time

Welcome back to another edition of FishbowlNY’s Cover Battle. This round pits GQ against Time. GQ, for its “Sexiest Women of The 21st Century” feature, put Beyonce on its cover. There is probably nothing we can say about this photograph that won’t sound 100 percent pervy, but here’s what we came up with: Are those pockets on her shorts? Hmm… Still seems pervy.

Time went with a giant picture of Chris Christie, with a nod to the King of Jersey, Bruce Springsteen. Despite his fantastic frank talk after Hurricane Sandy, Christie isn’t even close to Springsteen in the pantheon of Jersey heroes. Hell, even Jon Bon Jovi — a man who brought us “Wanted Dead or Alive,” the best song about riding a steel horse ever created — isn’t near The Boss.

So readers, which cover is better? You can vote, comment, or do both.
