Let the record show that if you publish slightly critical commentary about Donald Trump, he will blast back on Twitter and it will be fun for everyone involved. When New York’s Daily Intelligencer posted about Trump’s appearance on David Letterman, Trump responded by firing off a series of hilarious tweets. Here they are, for our enjoyment.

A vague insult followed by an odd prediction backed by no evidence whatsoever is a great start.

Here’s what happened between the first tweet and this one: Trump Googled “New York magazine editor.” He then tried to think of something other than “boring,” to say, but couldn’t. Frustrated, Trump scratched his butt. Then he remembered reading an article about him that proclaimed him irrelevant, and a lightbulb went off inside his head. Reinvigorated, Trump plugged the above into Twitter.

Sigh. “Boring” again. But you have to admire Trump’s determination to remind everyone which magazine he’s so mad about.
