Graydon Carter Comments on Tim Hetherington
Yesterday the media world was saddened by the death of Tim Hetherington, an Oscar-nominated filmmaker and Vanity Fair photographer. Despite the tragedy, Graydon Carter had already planned a party for Paul Allen’s new book at Monkey Bar, the restaurant Carter owns.
During the course of the evening, Carter took a moment to address his thoughts on Hetherington. According to Daily Intel, Carter was melancholic as he recalled him:
He was a wonderful guy. Coverage in the Mid-East right now, of course, it’s scary. Everything that most of us run away from, people like Tim Hetherington, they run towards.
