Guessing The Best Table at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner
The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is a joke and everyone knows it. It’s nothing more than a chance for media types to mingle with Hollywood types and talk about how fantastic they all are. Since no real news ever comes out of the dinner, let’s take an early look at who might have the best guests at their table, via WWD.
Time:
George Clooney and Girlfriend of The Moment Stacy Keibler
Newsweek/The Daily Beast:
Viola Davis and J.R. Martinez
Fortune:
Rashida Jones
The Huffington Post:
Darren Criss, Dakota Fanning, Daniel Day-Lewis, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer
It’s difficult to pick a winner this early because we know that many more celebrities will show up, but if we’re just going off of this, we’ll go with Newsweek/The Daily Beast. Clooney is great, but Davis is fantastic, and Martinez’s story makes us misty-eyed.
