Here is Why It’s Difficult to Defend Tina Brown and Newsweek

We’re very tired of the “Tina Brown is the worst/Newsweek sucks” media articles, but it’s awfully difficult to defend them when they continue to produce covers like this. It’s hate mongering and gross, and the accompanying article is just as bad.

Newsweek even tried to take advantage of the backlash on Twitter by asking people to use the #MuslimRage hashtag to talk about the cover, but thankfully it was quickly taken over by satirical responses such as “I’m having such a good hair day. No one even knows.”

Sometimes we wonder if it’s even worth pointing out what Brown and Newsweek do right when they do so much wrong.
