Scott Lamb Leaves BuzzFeed

Scott Lamb, who has been with BuzzFeed since its debut, is leaving. PaidContent reported that he was moving on to an “unspecified project,” and he tweeted that he was moving to Los Angeles.

Lamb served as BuzzFeed’s editorial director. He will be replaced by two staffers: Jack Sheperd and Summer Burton. Shepherd was most recently BuzzFeed’s community manager and “beastmaster.” He has been named editorial director, and will be responsible for the Rewind, DIY, Animal, Geeky and Celebrity verticals. He’ll also lead UK, Australia and other overseas operations.

Burton, most recently a senior editor for BuzzFeed’s Animals section, has been named managing editorial director and will work closely with Sheperd.
