Self Names New Managing Editor

Erin Hobday has been promoted from Features and Projects Director to Managing Editor at Self. Hobday, who has been at the magazine since 2007, replaces Kate Lewis. Lewis is now the Senior Executive Director of Human Resources at Condé Nast.

Lucy Danziger, Editor-in-Chief of Self, said Hobday was a natural choice to take over for Lewis. “I’m thrilled to promote Erin to this key role at a time when Self is moving full steam ahead on every platform and reaching a total audience of more than 12 million,” said Danziger. “Her skills, talent and dedication are vital to Self’s content and to our many exciting editorial projects. I look forward to many years ahead with Erin helping to navigate and facilitate the growth of the Self brand at this dynamic time in our business.”

The moves are effective immediately.
