Spike, HBO To Talk Levees Sequel

Filmmaker and iconic Knicks fan Spike Lee wants to do a sequel of his award-winning Katrina documentary, When The Levees Broke, which would focus on the Gulf Coast region outside of New Orleans.
“Next month, we’re going back to HBO and discuss how we can continue this,” Lee said at the American Society of Newspaper Editors convention over the weekend.
“The Gulf Coast will be a much bigger part. We didn’t forget about you … It was my choice to focus on New Orleans. New Orleans is the Mecca.”
Levees, by the way, just won a Peabody Award.
