The N.Y. Observer Hires Very Short List Editor
FishbowlNY has learned that Alex Abramovich has been hired by The New York
Observer as Editor of Very Short List. Abramovich begins today.
He began his career as an office boy and fact-checker at The
New Yorker. Since then, he’s been a contributor to The New York Times,
Slate, Bookforum, and the London Review of Books. He’s been an editor of websites FEED,
Flavorpill, and Very Short List.
Abramovich has also taught writing at Eugene Lang College at The New School.
