Michael Blankenheim of the inVocus media blog said the magazine’s publisher, Lauren Bogage of Niche Media, confirmed the magazine’s death in an email. We have reached out to Bogage but have not yet received confirmation from her.
Niche Media, which also publishes city-centric magazines such as Miami’s Ocean Drive and Gotham, entered into a deal with Donald Trump in September 2007, with the first issue of the quarterly mag published in November of that year. But it looks like even The Donald is not immune from the pressures of the recession felt by the luxury market and the magazines that rely on luxury companies for ad dollars.
