The October issue of Vogue features a correction that is just too good not to mention. In an interview with Chelsea Clinton in Vogue’s September issue, Jonathan Van Meter mentioned Dan Baer, one of Clinton’s friends. Turns out Van Meter didn’t check up on what, exactly, Baer does for a living.
Here’s the correction that was issued, via The Huffington Post:
In the September profile of Chelsea Clinton, “Waiting in The Wings,” by Jonathan Van Meter, Dan Baer was mistakingly identified as an interior designer. He is deputy assistant secretary for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the State Department.
