Donna L. Halper, PhD is an associate professor of Communication and Media Studies at Lesley University, Cambridge MA. She is the author of six books and many articles, and her work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and academic journals. A well-known media historian, she is frequently quoted on radio programs, on podcasts, and in print, discussing popular culture, baseball history, the history of broadcasting, media stereotypes, the history of fake news, etc. In 2023, she was inducted into the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
