Professional Experience

I began my writing-editing career sixteen years ago with two primary activities: (1) documenting products for technology companies, and (2) evaluating manufacturing processes. In recent years I have extended my work to include the editing of writers on scientific, technical, and cultural issues, and found that helping others to shape their message was also immensely gratifying. I also provide editing-proofreading services to both nonfiction and fiction writers on various subjects ranging from technical to philosophical. After sixteen years of writing and editing I made the decision to concentrate on freelance contracting work. As I continue with my writing and editing activities my highest priority is clarity of expression. I derive great satisfaction as a writer and editor by addressing the many important aspects of writing that it takes to achieve clarity such as thematic expression, logical structure, proper grammar, and detailed copy editing and proofreading.
