For a variety of personal reasons, Sarah and I are both going to be away from our computers for most of Tuesday, but we know we need to keep the river of content flowing, so I've come up with what I hope is a nifty little backup. If you're a published author or a publishing industry professional, and you have a cat or cats, and you have a picture of said cat(s) (preferably in the vicinity of books), and you want to tell us something about him or her or them...go ahead and send us your JPEGs and anecdotes.

We'll try to run a bunch of them on Tuesday...I'll start with Clo (left) and Psyche, who came to live with me and my wife back in 2004. Originally, my wife was just going to get Clo, but everybody told us we should have two cats, so they could keep each other company while we were out of the apartment, so we went out to the shelter and found Psyche, and as you can see, they get along fabulously. Most of the time.
