Stephen King Adaptation Coming to Syfy Channel

In July, the Syfy channel will release an adaptation of a Stephen King story, a spooky little show based on King’s novella, The Colorado Kid. The promo is embedded above.

IGN interviewed Syfy channel’s Executive VP of original content, Mark Stern about the show.

Here’s more from the article: “[The story] revolves around an FBI Agent, Audrey Parker (Rose), who arrives in the small Maine town of Haven to investigate a murder and discovers that the townsfolk have special powers. Those who have read the novella will recognize very little in the series from the actual story, but Stern insisted that there was much more to this series than just slapping King’s name on a project.” (io9)
