Twilight Tattoos

twilighttat.jpgLiterary tattoos require a powerful commitment to a book, a few readers exhibit such blockbuster dedication as Twilight fans.

As the highly anticipated release of Twilight: New Moon nears this weekend, The Daily Beast studied the novel’s fans who actually tattoo parts of the book on their bodies. The photo montage captures everything from full length page tattoos to tattooed autographs.

Here’s more about the tattoo pictured here: “Erica Collins found and loved a quote from New Moon, the saga’s second installment, before she even heard of the Twilight series. Edward Cullen tells Bella Swan, ‘Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars–points of light and reason,’ a phrase which now adorns this fan’s back.”
