M&C Saatchi Sport Launches New York OfficeWe recently received word that UK based sport and entertainment agency, MC Saatchi Sport has expanded to add an office New York. Heading up the new office is Sandra Carreon-John, who previously held the role of VP, Publicity at Madison Square Garden. Jonathan Schecter joins from Taylor as Senior Account Manager. The agency has 27 employees and total billings of more than $4 million in 2007. Reebok retained M&C Saatchi for work in the US after having worked together for three years in the Europe. CEO Steve Martin said in a statement, "We have been looking at opportunities in the States for a few years now and the Reebok opportunity gave us that platform to launch, providing we could find the right kind of people." As you may recall, People's Revolution is the agency being featured in this season of The Hills. Cast member Whitney Port will soon be "interning" there.
