Don’t Even Try to Pitch a Story on Friday
The Royal Wedding is upon us and every news outlet ever will be giving its undivided attention to the big event.
Our friends at TVNewser (who will be liveblogging the wedding starting at 4 a.m.) has a breakdown of the broadcast media that will be making their way offering live coverage. Romenesko has the memo with details about the AP’s coverage, which will be massive.
The celebrity news shows are coming out in full force; ET has committed more staffers than ever to the event and E! has a countdown clock ticking down to its coverage.
The Washington Post has the Royal Wedding Watch blog. Reuters has a section dedicated to the wedding. (They also report on a study that says it’s mentioned online every 10 seconds.) SELF is even liveblogging the event.
So if you were even thinking about trying to pitch a story, don’t. Just follow along with the wedding hoopla instead.
