Five Finalists to Compete In the Man-O-Manischewitz Cook Off

Passover is just a few weeks away and The Manischewitz Company is getting ready by hosting the 5th Annual Man-O-Manischewitz Kosher Cook-Off on March 31 in New York, a day that Mayor Michael Bloomberg has declared “Man-O-Manischewitz Day.” According to the press release, this is the only national kosher cooking event in the U.S.

Five finalists were selected last month; they’re competing for a $25,000 prize which includes cash and GE kitchen appliances. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges led by chef and author Jacques Pepin.

The dual goals of the event is to encourage at-home kosher cooking and to raise awareness for Jewish American Heritage Month. The Bender Hammerling Group has been at work to help Manischewitz reach those goals and to promote the company’s line of products.
