NY/NJ Super Bowl Committee Chooses Source Communications
The New York/New Jersey Super Bowl Host Committee for the 2014 Super Bowl has chosen Source Communications to create the logo to be used in collateral materials (at left featuring the George Washington Bridge and a snowflake for the undoubtedly cold weather that the game will be played in) and both print and TV ads. Source is an advertising and marketing firm, and it just recently introduced Source 1 Sports. The campaign launched today at an event at the Museum of Modern Art.
New York/New Jersey’s new MetLife Stadium was chosen for the big event despite a requirement stating that the host city should be located in a place that will reach 50 degrees Fahrenheit or have a climate-controlled stadium. According to the AP, East Rutherford, NJ, where the stadium is located, averages 24 to 40 degrees in February.
