The Diamond and Gold SABRE Awards have been handed out. Among the winners were GM and Weber Shandwick for Excellence in PR in the C-Suite; Starbucks and Edelman for brand building; and IBM for B-to-B marketing. A list of SABRE winners is available here and here.
The New York chapter of the PRSA has announced the three PR execs that will be honored at the May 24 Annual Big Apple Gala. M Booth CEO Margi Booth will receive the 2012 John W. Hill Award, which recognizes leadership, ethical conduct and public service; Maria Russell, Syracuse University PR professor and director of the executive education programs at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications will receive the Philip Dorf Award, which recognizes a stellar mentoring record; and Barri Rafferty, senior partner and director at Ketchum will get the 2012 President’s Award, honoring contributions to the PRSA-NY chapter.
The 18th Annual Communicator Awards, recognizing “big ideas in marketing and communications” and brought to you by the International Academy of Visual Arts, has announced its winners. Winners are posted here.
