CNN Worldwide has named Janet Rollé as the company’s new EVP and CMO, reporting to the president of the company, Jim Walton. Rollé joins from BET Networks, where she was also EVP and CMO, responsible for brand strategy, managed the redesign of BET on-air, and led BET’s multi-platform marketing campaigns.
Alastair Bannerman has been appointed global marketing of out-of-home advertising firm EYE. He was most recently chief client officer of Starcom MediaVest Group in th U.K.
M Booth & Associates has promoted four staff members. Andrew Rossi has been promoted from creative director to VP, creative director. Matt Hantz, previously a VP, is now SVP, working with clients such as American Express OPEN. Dana Hudon, previously VP, is now SVP, working with Michelin, Country Crock, and other clients. And Lauren Swartz is SVP, promoted from VP. She oversees the firm’s wine and spirits business.
APCO Worldwide has added two to its international advisory council: former French Parliament member and head of comms for Prime Minister Raymond Barre, Bertrand Cousin; and former head of the New York Stock Exchange international group George Ugeux.
