DuPont welcomes Tiffany M. Atwell as its newly appointed director of International Government Affairs. With over 15 years working on issues relating to international trade policies, Atwell has built quite a career in Washington. Previously, she was the senior director for Strategic Programs in Government Affairs and Policy for Abbott. She managed a team whose goal was to develop public-private partnerships with key governments and NGOs to drive outreach strategies in emerging markets like Russia, India and Brazil. She served as the International Trade Policy advisor to Senator Chuck Grassley, former Finance Committee chairman. Atwell managed trade related issues regarding China including: textiles, tariffs, currency exchange policies, customs and trade preference programs. Previously, she served as a congressional liaison for the undersecretary for Legislative Affairs for the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration assisting members of Congress in resolution of trade-related issues for their constituents. BBH named a new CEO for North America, Patrick Lafferty, who joins the agency after spending two-and-a-half years at McCann and the last 18 months as its North American COO. Lafferty replaces Greg Andersen, who was one of those affected by BBH’s major “restructuring” last fall. Lafferty, who will officially assume his CEO title at BBH this summer and based out of its New York office, who was a former platoon leader/company commander in the U.S. Army, will be tasked with running both BBH New York. Brainshark, Inc. announced the appointment of Larry DiLoreto as senior vice president of sales and chief revenue officer. In this role, DiLoreto is responsible for directing and managing Brainshark’s worldwide sales and revenue strategies. A seasoned sales and technology executive with a track record of global success, DiLoreto adds to the depth of Brainshark’s management team – helping the company extend its market leadership and momentum. Prior to Brainshark, DiLoreto served as executive vice president and chief revenue officer at SmartBear Software, where he led the company to achieve record revenues, developed its go-to-market channel strategy and directed its international expansion. Previously, Hovey was a senior account executive with RPR and now brings an extensive background in media relations and communications strategy across the corporate, finance, technology, entertainment and consumer industries. Hovey joins RPR from LAK Public Relations, where she led public relations campaigns for one of the world’s largest professional services firms. She specialized in garnering significant media coverage for clients in top-tier print, online and broadcast outlets, as well as executing successful media tours, high-profile events, and media training services to executives. As a former senior account executive at RPR, Hovey spent two years at the agency spearheading public relations campaigns for several clients, with a focus on the consumer, entertainment and beauty industries.(Release)

NCM Media Networks is strengthening its national ad sales and business development teams as it gears up for its second annual upfront presentation on Wednesday, May 15 at New York City’s AMC Loews Lincoln Square movie theater in New York. Beth Hoff, who has been serving as senior vice president of east coast sales with NCM Media Networks for the past seven years, will now take on the new role of senior vice president of marketing partnerships. In her new position, Hoff will focus on new business development as well as working with NCM’s national clients to help brands make the most impactful use of cinema advertising on-screen, on-site, online and on mobile devices. Joining the company to take over the leadership of the national sales team in New York is Dan Thomas, a television and digital ad sales veteran of nearly 20 years. As NCM Media Networks’ new senior vice president of east coast sales, Thomas will work closely with NCM’s account directors to serve clients and agencies throughout the region. (Release)
