Roll Call: Grayling, Choice Hotels, WPP, and More

Grayling has a new North American PR CEO, Chris Boehlke, who will lead the company’s public relations groups in Washington D.C., New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento. Boehlke joined Grayling in 2009 after parent company Huntsworth acquired her PR firm Connecting Point. She is currently head of the Grayling’s San Francisco office. [via]

Choice Hotels has named Robin Pence VP of PR. She’ll be managing external comms in the areas of media, government, and industry relations. Pence will report to Alexandra Jaritz, SVP of brand strategy and marketing. She joins from Gannett where she was VP of corporate communications. [via]

Adrienne Hayes has been named GM of Edelman‘s consumer marketing group in New York. She’s been with the firm for five years. Group clients include Energizer, AOL, and TJ Maxx/Marshall’s.

Chris Wade has been named head of communications for WPP EMEA. He’ll be based in London working with Sir Martin Sorrell and other WPP directors. He was previously the group director of comms at Guardian Media Group. [via]

Samsung Telecommunications has named Teri Daley senior director of PR, working with the Samsung Mobile division of products. Dale Sohn, president of Samsung Mobile, said in a statement that the company is building its U.S. PR and marketing. Daley comes to the company with 20 years of experience, 11 of them in telecom. She was previously the owner of 1 Degree PR and an EVP at Edelman. [via]

The Oriella PR Network has a new partner in Asia, EASTWEST PR. EASTWEST has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Singapore. The Oriella Network added two other partners – Botica Butler Raudon Public Relations and Buman Media — in January. You can check out the new Oriella website here. [via]
