Ryan Wells is joining the NASDAQ OMX Group as director of media relations on Monday, July 23. He was previously a manager at Burson-Marsteller and was with the firm nearly 2 1/2 years. The NASDAQ has been swimming in hot water over the problems with the Facebook IPO. We were in touch with NASDAQ for any comms developments in that area and — surprise! — no comment.

Stephen Corsi has joined Lewis PR as U.S. VP of digital marketing based in San Francisco. Corsi (pictured) has 18 years of experience and was most recently VP and MD of digital marketing agency iCrossing, where he worked with clients including GE and Mastercard.

Adam Kustin has been promoted to president of Shelton Group, a firm focused on sustainability and energy efficiency based in Knoxville, TN. Suzanne Shelton, founder of the firm, is now also the firm’s CEO. Kustin was previously VP, a title he’d held since 2009. Firm clients have included Toshiba LED lighting and Steelcase.

John Digles is back at MWW Group, where he’s just been named as EVP and GM of the Chicago office. He was previously at Edelman leading the consumer marketing team. Prior to that, he was CMO of XANGO, a health and wellness company. He worked with MWW previously for a decade.

Ron Sachs Communications has acquired the staff, clients, and resources at What’s Next Marketing, a social and digital media agency founded in 2009. What’s Next founder Ryan Cohn will lead the firm’s digital media staff. Ron Sachs has offices in Tallahassee and Orlando, FL.
