Tools Round Up: Vitrue Raises $17 Million in Financing

Vitrue, the social media management and marketing company, has raised $17 million in financing led by Scale Venture Partners, Advent Venture Partners, and previous investors General Catalyst Partners, Comcast Interactive, and Dace Ventures. According to TechCrunch, the company will use the infusion of cash to expand in markets domestically and globally, and to hire between 100 and 150 people.
