As world leaders gather at the United Nations General Assembly this week, Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi took his lodging situation in to his own hands. Somehow he was able to rent space on a property owned by Donald Trump in Bedford, NY and have a large tent erected for him to stay in. Apparently, Trump wasn’t aware of the situation.
That led to the following statement from Trump Organization spokeswoman Rhona Graff: “We have requested that the tenant occupying the property in Bedford, N.Y. remove the tent that was erected. They have complied with this request. Additionally, Mr. Gadhafi will not be going to the property.”
