6.9 Earthquake, Aftershocks, Rattle Southwest

A magnitude 6.9 earthquake, with an epicenter in northern Mexico and felt in southern California and Arizona, struck at 3:40pmPT (6:40pmET) today. CNN reported the news at 6:51pmET during its CNN Newsroom live newscast with Don Lemon. Fox News with anchor Harris Faulkner reported the news at 7:01pm on FOX Report. MSNBC’s Melissa Rehberger interrupted documentary programming at 7:09pm to report the news.
