All’s Quiet on the Piers Front

It’s Friday afternoon and there’s no news out of CNN on a new host at 9pm to replace Larry King this fall. Reports sprouted earlier this week about an imminent deal between the network and Piers Morgan, with the New York Times hearing from sources, “A contract could be signed within a few days.”

NYMag today pulled together a list of trivia and bio items about the “Celebrity Apprentice” winner. (Did you know he once broke three ribs falling off a segway?)

We’ve checked in, and zilch from the CNN camp on any deal.
