American Journalists Play Royal Baby Waiting Game

There still isn’t a royal baby! American networks sent correspondents to London late last week with the hope of getting some live coverage this week, but so far Kate Middleton is a no-show at the hospital where she is expected give birth.

Those covering the scene have resorted to extreme measures.

NBC “Today” co-anchor Natalie Morales has been knitting baby booties, and, as this Instagram video indicates, is slowly going native.

CNN’s Max Foster cut a video with a clock ticking, as journalists awaiting the baby’s arrival go slowly mad. Fox News Channel’s Martha MacCallum expressed her displeasure on Twitter:

Godspeed reporters, godspeed.
